What does “TUKLASAYA!” mean?
TUKLASAYA! combines the Filipino words tuklas (discover) and saya (joy). Our name celebrates learning through curiosity, understanding, practice, and the joy of discovery. Bawat Tuklas, May Saya!
Our guiding message is simple: Discover. Learn. Enjoy. We want every learner to feel comfortable asking questions, trying again, and growing through meaningful practice.
More than getting the correct answer
TUKLASAYA! aims to help Filipino learners—from emerging literacy skills through Senior High School—develop listening, reading, writing, speaking, and viewing, while strengthening comprehension, vocabulary, reasoning and communication through enjoyable practice.
Students can explore reading challenges, brain games, riddles and speaking activities. Teachers can try classroom presentation tools, the Curriculum Planner, and supervised Read-a-Thon activities, including our Story Roulette.
Made with educators, improved through feedback
Created in the Philippines by Sir RickPiodz, TUKLASAYA! is an independently developed educational pilot. We welcome teachers’ and schools’ suggestions as we refine the activities, accessibility, and curriculum alignment.
Some activities are still prototypes. Speech-recognition scores are estimates; classroom tools require teacher supervision; and curriculum mapping is a developing resource. TUKLASAYA! is not an official DepEd product or an approved school assessment.
How did TUKLASAYA! begin?
TUKLASAYA! grew from earlier learning prototypes called SagotMo and PERCIPE!. Our current official home is tuklasaya.com; earlier pilot links may still be available during the transition. The platform is independently developed and is not an official government or school-system service.
Why the logo?
Our symbol combines an open book with a spark of discovery. The book represents learning, while the light represents discovery and the moment understanding becomes clear.
